As a Sourcing Unit manager for Scandinavia, you will lead and coach the team of Sourcing Specialists to reach the Sourcing Units targets and objectives. You will be accountable for all the sourcing related activities in the unit including ensuring timely, quality and cost competitive supply.

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

To succeed in this role you should have:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in business or in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain management. Related category experience is an asset.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking, change management skills
  • Strong negotiation skills, understanding strategic sourcing process is an asset
  • Capability to work effectively and drive change in a matrix environment with our business and front line teams.
  • A team player attitude and strong performance under pressure
  • Proven leadership, cross-functional team skills, good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage projects independently and work with other business functions
  • Clear communication skills, fluent in both Scandinavian and English language.
  • Willingness to travel

We believe you are a person that ensure alignment and collaboration with Unit operations management and key stakeholders as well as participation and support for global category management teams. You manage unit  requirements and translate into sourcing opportunities.

You will be responsible for regional and global supplier negotiations, selection, contracts, management and compliance based on KONE strategic sourcing process (BENIM). Responsible for regular reporting of sourcing unit KPI’s and accountable for local unit supplier relationship management. We also want you to drive and support cross-unit synergy opportunities. Ensure compliance and adherence to KONE sourcing policies & procedures, quality, safety and environmental standards.

As a leader you are experienced and visionary with the ability to communicate with confidence and clarity. A leader who identifies and breaks down barriers to open communication. You encourages team members to share and implement their ideas and understand the value of cooperation between functions.

For you it is important to keep yourself up-to-date on current developments in the industry and to always seeks opportunities for improvement.
