Senior Mechanical Engineer, precision electrical tools for the industry

Now we are looking for a mechanical engineer, for the development and maintenance of existing and next generation of world leading tools to the electronics assembly market. In this role you will be part of a multinational and 350 people strong R&D department at our headquarter in Sickla, developing solutions for flexible industrial production.
As our new mechanical engineer, you will work together with the department’s SW/HW engineers in a cross-functional and agile environment. Our mission is to develop long lasting solutions and the best screw drivers and controllers for the demanding electronics assembly industry. You will communicate with production, sourcing, quality and logistics, and external partners and suppliers. For us, it is important to keep up with the latest technology and new methods, this allows us to innovate for a sustainable future.

Your main tasks & mission:
Mechanical design of new and existing tools
Act as a design responsible in some projects
Implement and document new technical design
Test and verify mechanical design
Communicate with internal and external partners

You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and several years of experience in mechanical product design. Experience in 3D-CAD is a must, preferable CREO. You are fluent in English, spoken Swedish is good to have.
Cross cultural and flexible mindset is necessary in order to quickly adapt to changed demands and circumstances in the projects, without losing focus on the goal. You like order and structure, and to build networks with internal and external contacts.
