Within the Industrial Technology business area, we are now looking for a Production Manager Component Workshop Atlas Copco Tierp works.
In the role of Production Manager Component Workshop, you have, together with your team, the overall responsibility from planning to manufacturing for components. The overall mission for is to manufacture high quality components in a cost efficient way to our assembly units in Tierp (Sweden) Budapest (Hungary) and Nantes (France).
Your team of direct reports, today 10 employees, includes Production leaders and Production Engineering Manager and in total the component workshop have 270 employees.

As Production Manager Component workshop, you report to the Plant Manager. You are part of the factory management team where you, in close cooperation with the Operations Manager for Special production, Assembly Manager, Logistics Manager, CFO, SHEQ manager and HR manager, are responsible for the factory as a whole.
Manage the continuous improvement of component workshop by ensuring stable output, excellent quality standards and high reliable delivery efficiency with short lead times to achieve customer satisfaction.
- You share our commitment and our view of "Safety First" and contribute to a strong safety culture by continuing to work with ergonomics and striving for zero work-related accidents on your area of responsibility
- Improve efficiency, quality and lead time in manufacturing by continuing to work on implementing Lean and Industry 4.0.
- Work with improvement projects.
- Take responsibility for your own development and keep you updated on new methods and concepts such as industry 4.0 and working with production processes.
- Ensure good cooperation with sales and marketing department.

We would like you to have an engineering degree from the university in mechanics, industrial technology or related fields, all of which have acquired corresponding knowledge through work experience.
Fluent Swedish and good knowledge of English both in speech and writing.
Good financial understanding of the company's financial management and product costs in relation to business decisions.
Experience of leadership in manufacturing industry with good results.
Very good experience with Lean production and Lean management.
