About the role

Mycronic is a Swedish high-tech company and has been a trusted partner to electronics and display manufacturers worldwide for over 40 years. They are headquartered in Stockholm, Täby and with subsidiaries, agents and distributors in more than 50 countries. As a Process Engineer at Mycronic you will work with the lithographic process for the next generation of the world’s most advanced laser pattern generators used for high-end chip- and display manufacturing. You will work in a cross-functional team with both junior and senior engineers within mechatronics, optics and lithography but also collaborate with other colleagues from different departments in the challenge of reaching the best end results. Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process, but you will be employed directly by Mycronic.

Hi! My name is Anna and I am the manager of our development team within optics, mechatronics and lithography here at Mycronic. I have worked within the company since 2016 and lead a group with high competence, driven by finding technical solutions that meet our customers' advanced and high demands. There is an enormous commitment in the group with the product in focus, where we are constantly working to create tomorrow's solutions and at the same time both develop and support each other. Job duties

This is a broad role for you who both like and have the ability to analyze and solve complex problems. You probably also enjoy working with process development and with a mix of theory and hands on work in the lab.

You will for example…

  • In the long term, be the expert within Mycronic in our lithographic processes

  • Work with process quality and statistical follow-up/control

  • Work with practical tests in process lab

  • Support sales and customers when needed

  • Participate in technology development and in improvement of methods and tools

  • Analysis and sustaining of existing products

We are looking for

  • A BSc or MSc in Physics, process engineering or similar

  • Knowledge and interest in Statistical process control, SPC

  • Good communication skills in English, Swedish is a plus

  • Experience of relevant tools for data-analysis (E.g. Excel, Matlab or similar)
