Indirect Sourcing Specialist, KONE Scandinavia

Now KONE is looking for Indirect Sourcing Specialist for the team in Scandinavia with location at KONE headquarter in Kista, Stockholm.  You will be responsible for selected indirect categories including Temporary Labor, ICT, Travel and Advisory services.

As an Indirect Sourcing Specialist for Scandinavia, you will support the Unit Sourcing Manager in executing sourcing plans for Scandinavia, working closely together with local operations. Your main responsibilities will be identifying local sourcing opportunities, manage supplier tenders, act as contract owner for selected suppliers and manage related supplier relationships.

 

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

To succeed in this role you should have:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in business or in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in relevant field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in strategic sourcing and/or supply chain. Related category experience is an asset
  • Analytical and strategic thinking, change management skills
  • Strong negotiation skills, understanding strategic sourcing process is an asset
  • Contract management knowledge, Supplier performance and quality management
  • Capability to work effectively and drive change in a matrix environment with our business and frontline teams
  • A team player attitude and strong performance under pressure
  • Ability to manage projects independently
  • Clear communication skills, fluent in both Scandinavian and English language.
  • Willingness to travel

 

We believe you are a person that ensure alignment and collaboration with management and key stakeholders as well as participation and support for global category management teams. You manage unit requirements and translate into sourcing opportunities.

You will be responsible for category planning and sourcing projects in Scandinavia for the categories in scope, including e.g:

  • Creating category roadmap and strategy for Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway and Denmark)
  • Defining action plan for savings and demand management
  • Leading supplier negotiations, selection and contracts in area of responsibility
  • Updating instructions and policies
  • Providing guidance and support to the business in following preferred suppliers and ensuring compliance

 

As a person you are experienced and visionary with the ability to communicate with confidence and clarity. You identify and break down barriers to open communication. You encourage team members to share and implement their ideas and understand the value of cooperation between functions.

For you it is important to keep yourself up-to-date on current developments in the industry and to always seek opportunities for improvement.
