…a proactive Supply Chain Developer for the new Global Supply Chain Development department, Global Operations. This is a full-time position and since both the position and the department are new there will be some extra challenges and opportunities to shape the role together with your colleagues.

We are looking for you…
…who is searching for a position with that exciting little extra and at the same time has the capabilities and willingness to put in that extra effort needed. The journey forward will be complex, include a lot of work and extensive challenges must be solved in a proper manner. You will need to have a structured, analytical and positive mindset with a firm platform from your University education. Your degree is probably within engineering or business administration (economy). We see it as a merit if you have studied Supply Chain Excellence.

We expect you to have at least 5-10 years of experience within the field of logistics and/or supply chain. Preferably as a consultant as this approach could boost the abstract ability you probably have to have when approaching the global perspective of Höganäs’ network and business structure.

You need to be confident in your SCM and logistics skills, and be able to use your business acumen in a constructive and flexible way. To really be able to enjoy this position you also have to have good and proven skills in your ability to communicate and be a team player. We are looking for you who are proactive, can think outside the box and have a focus in making a change.

As a Supply Chain Developer, you have the proven ability to identify potential and work with your colleagues to secure that actions are implemented to take care of this potential. You therefore have integrity and a consistent ability to make change really happen.

The position demands good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems. Business intelligence tools is also preferred.

You have strong communication skills in English, both in writing and speaking.
B class driving license is mandatory.


About the position
By working as a Global Supply Chain Developer within the Höganäs Group you will be at the focal point of our business development. You will be involved in the complete development of our supply chain activities and processes. This specific position also has a specialization within Inventory Management as our ambition is to take our Global Inventory Management to the next level by implementing a service optimization perspective i.e. connecting service levels from stock to optimized inventory levels that correlate to improved delivery performance.

Our business system is Infor M3 and we will use Toolsgroups SO99+ optimization software for demand planning, inventory and replenishment management. Your task is to drive development as well as to manage and control SO99+ optimization focus in close cooperation with our global sales, plants, warehouse locations etc. You will act as a competence centre for Inventory Optimization as well as Supply Chain Development together with your colleagues in the team of Global Supply Chain Development.

Global Supply Chain Development works continuously with analysis, simulations, process development and optimization with focus on increasing value and competitiveness in our supply chain setup.  You will work with standardization and process development and have around 40-60 travel days per year.

You report to the Global Supply Chain Development Manager, which is also part of the Global Operation Management team.
