Planarkitekt

The successful candidate will report to a Project Manager and will support the introduction of new product platforms or significant product improvements into the Assembly Division or OEM suppliers and support the current product range. This will necessitate detailed communication with the relevant design authority and the Assembly location.

The main responsibilities of the role include :-
· Product Development
· Problem Solving / Troubleshooting
· Design Improvement
· Cost Reduction
· Reliability Testing
· Performance Testing
· Component Qualification

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a background supporting the introduction of product developments or significant product improvements. Some experience of injection moulded component design would be advantageous. Experience of CAD (Catia) would be beneficial, however, training will be given to the successful candidate.

Applicants will have both practical and analytical skills and should be able to interpret data in an objective manner.

Suitable candidates will have the organisational skills necessary for successful project management and have a minimumHND in mechanical engineering.

Applicants must have excellent communications skills, be self-motivated and committed to achieving challenging targets and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of achievement.
