We currently have a vacancy for an Engineering Survey and Design Engineer. This position will be based in Kista, Sweden.Job descriptionAs an Engineering Survey and Design Engineer you’ll be responsible for construction and management of survey business, supervision, making sure that the survey business could be operated in a smooth and efficient way in the project. This position contains a variety of tasks where you’ll be dealing with everything from coordinating the internal and the external parties (agents, subcontractors, the project team and customers), providing efficient training to subcontractors and handling complaints such as short delivery or wrong shipment. Your job will be to analyze the reasons and update with improvements.ResponsibilitiesIn this position you will be responsible for:• Responsible for programming and constructing the survey resources of the regional divisions, including programming and constructing cooperation resource.• Responsible for all site related issues such as site solutions, feeder solutions, external alarm solution, power solution, material request and so on.• Reviewing engineering drawing (AutoCAD) such as floor layout, equipment layout, single line diagram, routing layout etc.• Distinguish communication skills, working efficiently with both technicians and management.• Good understanding of BOQ (Bill of Quantity) and Network Diagram which is created/designed by marketing section.• Cooperated with project team and relevant department staff.QualificationsQualifications we see as important for this position are:• Bachelor’s degree within Telecom/Electrical/Electronic/Engineering or related fields.• Fluent in English• Familiar with telecom main products. Basic knowledge on Wireless Network (GSM, GPRS, CDMA, WCDMA, WiMAX), fixed Network (Narrowband Switching, Datacom, Broadband), Transmission Network (DWDM, SDH, PDH), Service and Software (WIN, SMSC, MMS, Value-added or Auxiliary Facilities (Power System, Battery, UPS, Inverter, MDF, DDF, ODF) will be strongly preferred.• 2-3 years experience on Telecom Engineering.• Good sense of cooperation with project team member.• Excellent spirit of offering good services to the customer.• Reliable skills in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.• Willing to travel throughout the whole Sweden or other countries.• Friendly, open-minded, motivated, and responsible.• Basic Project management skills.• Driving license B in Sweden.OrganizationThe engineering survey and design engineer will work within the Nordic & Baltic Service organization. The Nordic & Baltic organization is managed from Kista, Sweden. Location of this position in Kista, Sweden.
