The Centre for Concrete at the Danish Technological Institute consists of 4 teams with specialists in concrete technology, condition assessment, testing and product development. We are involved in large construction projects such as the Metro City Ring in Copenhagen and the Fehmarn Belt connection, and as a result of an increasing number of assignments, we are now seeking an experienced Concrete Technologist.

Project Manager in Concrete Technology
Your daily work is both in the centre and out with customers. In addition, you work as a Project Manager on several assignments on an ongoing basis, and help obtain new projects through your network.

Your tasks range from in-depth study and analysis of concrete technological problems for the preparation of quality plans for tasks such as preliminary testing of concrete. The tasks are solved in continuous dialogue with customers, typical builders and contractors on the projects mentioned above, and colleagues in the team. As a Project Manager, you are responsible for academic progress as well as financial management.

You'll get your own independent customers and assignments, but we also typically work in small teams, where we utilize each other's complementary skills and use each other for sparring.

Experience in consulting
You are most likely a structural engineer with a high level of professionalism in concrete. You have solid industry experience, you ensure the progress of complex projects with multiple stakeholders, and you're used to working and engaging with customers about solutions. A thorough knowledge of legislation in the field of concrete is an advantage.

You have a strong network in the construction industry and you are able to commit yourself to our customers in different segments. Your academic qualifications combined with your business acumen helps create and maintain good working relationships.

You can convert your theoretical knowledge into practical solutions and you thrive on communicating at a high professional level both orally and in writing. You are used to planning your work around a busy daily schedule and you solve the tasks you undertake in a goal-oriented way.
